Limitation of Liability
Interfaced with a Gallagher platform, the USMS Nodetrol Platform provides the following options and capabilities:
• Paired tagging which allows the ‘pairing’ of users/assets, users/users or a combination of tagged items or personnel regardless of supplier of such transactional input. For example, an employee with an employee HID access card (Gallagher) carrying an RFID tagged laptop (RFID supplier) approaches an egress point, but is not authorised to carry the laptop out of the facility. When that employee uses his/her access card to open a door, a separate RFID reader ‘sees’ that he is carrying an unauthorised device causing a signal to be sent to the Gallagher platform triggering an alarm status
• Integrated asset tracking and access control capability
• Fully supports directional RFID hardware and software modes. Provides a single directional ‘event’ to Gallagher through the gateway interface
• Allows use of any available reader technology including RFID, MagStripe, Keypad, HID ProxCard etc. Includes future technology protection with the addition of a simple driver to accommodate expanded systems
• Fully encrypted network communication using industry standard AES encryption
• Linux-based appliance provides highest level of reliability. Other supporting interface applications can be run on Windows, MAC OSX or Linux
• Real-time integration and interface with Gallagher
• Bi-directional capabilities between RFID system input and Gallagher
• Bi-directional local control capability out of RFID Controller from Gallagher commands
• Ability to easily map an RFID tag to a Gallagher cardholder
• Potential to have Gallagher card functionality and RFID tag functionality on a single card providing multiple function set of ID
• Ability to ‘read’ multiple personnel tags (RFID ID badges) and/or asset tags (attached to assets) as they pass through coverage areas and report information in real time for action.
