SLIP is a powerful integration / management tool which provides many interfaces to its functionality. The system can either have a visible user interface (such as asset tracking) or can run silently in the background providing integration without user intervention. Using its powerful rule engine, SLIP can be configured to perform almost any form of system customization and can seamlessly control any integrated system. For example, an event generated by system A can trigger an action on system B depending on a state in system C. For example, an access control card swipe can make a camera move but only if there is no fire alarm. The actions, conditions and events can be pulled from any integrated system. SLIP is being constantly expanded to include new systems.
