Gallagher Command Centre supports video interfaces and a high level event and alarm interface with the Bosch DVR system, featuring the following:

• Recorded video from multiple cameras can be associated with alarms and is available for playback in Command Centre Classic or Premier alarm viewers.
• Live video viewer and controls are available directly from Command Centre Classic or from Command Centre Premier.

The Dedicated Micros DVR integration was developed for NetVu-supported DVRs and supports the live viewer functionality. As with all standard live viewer functionality, live images can be used as part of the Challenge Viewer, Site Plans, External systems window and the Find tool. Other features are Pan Tilt and Zoom controls, sending cameras to presets and initiating patterns.

Operators can also view any alarm with video footage in the alarm viewer. Historical video associated with configured alarms and events can be retrieved via the Find tool. The operator can also play/pause, fast-forward/rewind or advance frame by frame during viewing.

Omnicast Gallagher Interface

This interface uses the Gallagher Event Input API to allow a single Gallagher Command Centre system to be interfaced with one or more Genetec Omnicast directories so that events and alarms can be sent between the two systems.

Omnicast DVR Integration

When installed on Gallagher Command Centre workstations, this software allows for the viewing of live and recorded video from within Gallagher. This includes full PTZ control (including presets, patterns and outputs) and support for two-way audio communication.

The IndigoVision Gallagher Integration Module allows events and alarms from Gallagher systems to be forwarded to IndigoVision IP Video and Alarm Management systems. The result is a tightly integrated access control and CCTV system.

Any Gallagher event can trigger a wide range of actions within the IndigoVision system – from starting recordings on an IndigoVision Network Video Recorder to moving PTZ cameras to specific locations or sending notification emails.

All Gallagher events appear within the IndigoVision Alarm Log which can be viewed in playback in the Control Center.

The module is compatible with any version of Gallagher with the Gallagher OPC Bridge interface installed on the same machine. Powerful and flexible configuration is carried out via simple text files and the OPC Bridge configuration utility.

A high level interface with the Intellex DVR (American Dynamics) integration includes the standard live viewer functionality. This allows the operator to view live footage initiated from the Challenge Viewer, Site Plans, External systems window and the Find tool. The interface supports:

• Recorded DVR video to be associated with alarms in the Command Centre

• Video viewer control from the Command Centre user interface for viewing live and stored video footage, including the use of play/pause, fast-forward and rewind features. Operators can view any alarm with video footage in the Alarm Viewer and retrieve historical video associated with configured alarms and events via the Find tool

• Live video display in the Challenge window.

Alarms and events are also shared between Gallagher and Intellex via a bi-directional alarm interface. Gallagher will start or stop recording according to Gallagher alarms or events and will also initiate recording on Intellex alarms such as motion detection and other diagnostic type events such as video loss.

Note: Pan Tilt Zoom, presets and patterns are not supported.

This integration allows for the viewing of live and playback video footage from Milestone recorders within Gallagher Command Centre and offers event exchange between the two systems.

The Milestone Remote Client also serves for more advanced video management, including PTZ and audio in/out. Gallagher events can be used to trigger, for example, PTZ camera positions and start recording in Milestone.

Milestone events such as video motion detection and camera tampering can be relayed to the Gallagher system for further processing.

The three solutions for event link integration are:
• Invoking a Milestone Active X within the Gallagher workstation (live and playback)
• Invoking the Milestone Remote Client from the Gallagher workstation (enabling configuration of more complex views, PTZ, audio in/out, timeline etc)
• Event link – exchange of events between the two systems using the Gallagher Controller interface. For example, sending motion detection or video events to Gallagher or sending events from Gallagher to Milestone.
