Command Centre Premier provides the ability to create custom designed panels with targeted and selected cardholder and site information presented for either controlled or view-only monitoring of cardholders as they pass through a secured access point.

Command Centre Premier's Challenge Viewers allow a site more flexibility when verifying a person's identity prior to granting them entry:

  • Challenge events from multiple entry points can be combined in one viewer or segregated into separate viewers for flexible workload management.
  • Assisting operators who perform background tasks as well as controlled challenge entry Challenge Viewers can automatically pop to front when a new challenge request occurs.
  • The queue of waiting requests is always visible to the operator, so that an operator needing more information from a person at one entry point can now choose to switch to an alternate challenge request, processing that event before returning to the original cardholder.

Command Centre offers the ability to present any of the following information to the controlled challenge operator, with support for positioning and sizing of this information on the screen:

  • A cardholder image tile.
  • Name, division, description and any personal data.
  • Current status of cards, competencies or access groups, notifications or relationships.
  • Cardholder history.
  • Cardholder expiries tile.
  • Cardholder notes previously recorded for the person.
  • Event trail showing where the person has recently used their card as well as recent operator modifications to the person's information (e.g. changes to the person's details, cards or access).
  • Site plan.
  • Status tile.
  • Live video from any integrated camera, allowing challenge operators remote from the entry point to view and compare on screen cardholder information with the person requesting entry to view and compare on screen, the stored cardholder image against the live image of the person requesting entry.

Managing the Challenge Queue

Command Centre Premier in v7.00 now offers an operator new flexibility in managing simultaneous challenge requests from multiple controlled entry points.

Challenge events from different entry points can be presented to an operator at the same time and within the same viewer.

An operator needing more information from a person at one entry point can now choose to switch to an alternate challenge request, processing that event before returning to the original cardholder.

Pop-to-front Challenge Viewers

Assisting operators who perform background tasks and utilise controlled challenge entry. Viewers can automatically pop to front when a new challenge request occurs.

View-only Challenge

Command Centre Premier provides the ability to create custom designed panels with targeted and selected cardholder and site information presented for view-only monitoring of cardholders as they pass through a secured point. View-only challenge is configured using the flexibility of Command Centre Premier's monitor site viewer.

View-only challenge panels can be configured to combine cardholder-related information for multiple doors in a single panel (or screen). Alternately, each monitored door can have its own dedicated panel.

Panels as well as tiles within the viewer can be individually named reflecting the door or doors they monitor.

View-only challenge panels always present information for the last person to request access at the door.

Although designed for view-only challenge, panels can also be used in a controlled challenge mode by allowing the operator rather than the system to control the door via an override from a site plan or status tile. When an Intercom system is available this can also be used to alert the operator to a new person requesting entry.

This option differs from controlled challenge viewers, as:

 

  • Access requests denied by the system will still be presented to the monitoring operator.
  • Panels retain cardholder information for the last person to request access, updating only when a new access request occurs at the door.
  • Access requests are managed either natively by the system or via operator overrides and therefore do not have an associated timeout period.
  • View-only challenge offers options to:
    - Present and layout information in one screen about the cardholder requesting access.
    - In situations where entry readers are provided for both a vehicle and person, details about the vehicle as well as the person can also be presented.
    - Present live video feeds from integrated cameras.
    - Display site plan(s) within the panel to allow operators to view or override status of the door or any items nearby.
    - View and optionally override status of selected, pre-configured items. Alternately the status tile can be used by the operator to dynamically select and view status of any item in the system.
    - View recent events from selected items such as the door itself or from items on a pre-selected site plan.
    - View the access decision for the current cardholder, either granted or denied.
