Gallagher’s offering includes standalone non-lethal perimeter electric fencing, no-feel sensor technologies, through to centrally configured and controlled access, intruder alarms, perimeter security and compliance management. This native combination is believed to be a world first. Gallagher’s business-connected security integration platform automatically executes business policy by enforcing compliance with regulation; it resides on an organisation’s IT network and stores information about cardholders, the site and system activity and delivers security from the perimeter to the hub.
Perimeter Overview
Perimeter is the first point of access control and intrusion detection. Gallagher offers a range of perimeter security technologies including software controlled or standalone electric fences through to ‘no-feel’ disturbance sensors which can be applied to site perimeter whether that’s a fence, building walls or a roof top.
Gallagher’s security electric fence systems are safe, effective and reliable perimeter solutions, configurable for any type and size of business. These systems are founded on two core principles: deterrence and detection. Attempts to breach the perimeter by would-be intruders or escapees are deterred by a regulated electric pulse sent around the perimeter fence line approximately every second. These pulses give a short, safe shock. The electric fence system also detects attempts to breach the perimeter, differentiating between serious breaches and disturbances by wildlife, birds or weather conditions.
Our custom-built perimeter security solutions include slim-line standalone, retrofit or Walltop electric fence systems for small commercial applications (Medal). We also offer robust systems suited to the rigorous requirements of high-risk security installations (Trophy FT or Trophy 6) such as power and fuel utility sites, military installations and prisons.
The Gallagher Trophy FT system enables full configuration, control and monitoring of the electric fence system through Command Centre software. It offers advanced multi-zone protection on single or multiple geographically distributed sites and can be integrated with other security systems such as imaging systems, intruder alarm or access control, alarm monitoring and signalling.
Working with world-class technology partners, Gallagher also offers comprehensive perimeter security solutions through multiple perimeter security technologies, for example, tautwire, fibre optic cable (buried and/or fence mounted) and disturbance sensor technologies.

Fully Integrated Electric Fence Perimeter Security - Trophy FT
With Gallagher Trophy FT, you can manage system-wide security from the perimeter to the hub, through one management platform and a single user interface – Gallagher Command Centre.
The high-level integration of Gallagher’s Trophy FT electric perimeter fence security system delivers full configuration, control and monitoring capability for multi-zoned, multi-site perimeter security.

Standalone Electric Fence System: Trophy 6
With fence controllers and keypads, as a standalone option, the Gallagher Trophy 6 system can be configured to control and monitor up to six electric fence zones with up to four alarm inputs.
The system features one or two three-channel fence controllers and an intelligent keypad for remote access that, as the control point, makes all system decisions.
Gallagher Trophy 6 Controller
The Gallagher Trophy 6 Fence Controller sends regulated electrical pulses along each fence channel with the returning pulses being monitored. Any attempt to climb or disable the fence or cut the wire is detected.
With the ability to identify zones, the Trophy 6 system allows high-voltage zone separation and selectable zone control.
Smart battery back-up and fence and earth voltage monitoring completes this integrated Gallagher solution.
Gallagher Trophy 6 Keypad
The Gallagher Trophy 6 system features a dedicated intelligent keypad that’s the control point of the Trophy 6 system. User operations are menu-driven with ‘soft keys’ to prompt the next step, the functions of which change according to the screen being used. The keypad:
• Allows users to set and unset alarms, view the voltage level on the fence zones and view alarm logs
• Is specifically designed for ease of use with backlighting and a large graphic display.
Standalone Electric Fence: Medal Systems
Gallagher Medal systems are complete solutions with all the components you need for a secure fence, all of which can be tailored and configured to suit your individual needs. Medal systems are also available in fast and easy to install Walltop kitsets requiring no special tools.
These cost-effective solutions for commercial and domestic applications are effective and compatible perimeter security solutions with single channel energisers. They are very popular on commercial sites to effectively detect and actively deter intruders without nuisance alarms. Medal systems can be integrated with security monitoring equipment such as sirens, lights, key switches and time relays.
Medal systems are complete, secure fencing solutions which include components that can be tailored and configured to suit specific needs.
Medal 1000 Controller
The Medal 1000 Controller, with nine joules of stored energy, includes features such as a built-in detector and lightning protector, smart battery management, earth voltage and gate detection. It also has programmable relay options, remote arm input, key-switch operability, LED indicators and easy installation making this fence controller the user-friendly option for low to medium security sites.
Medal 501 Controller
The Medal 501 Controller, with five joules of stored energy, has been designed to meet the specific requirements of light industrial and domestic sites. Design elements include:
• Concealed terminals to avoid accidental contact
• Scratch-resistant surface with raised detail to protect surface area from scuffing
• Robust and appealing design.
Medal Keypad
The Medal Keypad gives the option of alarms management at the keypad. The Controller can be armed either at the unit or keypad, the latter providing confirmation that the unit is armed if requested. If the unit goes into alarm mode, the corresponding keypad LED will light up.
Medal Walltop Kits
Gallagher Medal Walltop Kits are ideal for home DIYers and include all the necessary components (brace rods, support posts, insulators and springs) to construct a Gallagher Perimeter Walltop system.
Medal Walltop Intermediate Kit
Walltop Intermediate Kit contains all the necessary components – wire, rods and warning signs – for the intermediate section of a Gallagher Walltop system. One Walltop Intermediate Kit is required for every 30-metre (98-feet) section of wall.
Medal Walltop Corner Kit
Our Walltop Corner Kit contains all the necessary components to construct the corner section of a Gallagher electric Walltop system. One kit is required for every corner of wall needing securing.
Medal Walltop End Kit
The Walltop End Kit contains all the required components to construct the end section of a Gallagher Walltop system. One kit is required for every fence start and fence finish plus two End Kits for every wall step greater than 300mm (one foot).
Non-Electrified Perimeter Security
Gallagher has a range of security sensor technologies that complement electric fence perimeter security and can be used in conjunction with the Gallagher fence systems or standalone.
