Gallagher Command Centre v7.00 revolutionises security Operator experience
Gallagher Command Centre v7.00 provides support for the modern control room with a built-in User Interface configuration tool, allowing customers to design and adapt screen layouts with full support for multi-monitor workstations. Screen layouts are designed specifically for the monitor's resolution, to make best use of the available screen real estate and specifically for the role and tasks the operator performs. Screen layouts, or viewers, can be adapted for each operator with sites and individual operators using as many or as few as their particular needs demand.
The information the security team needs to complete a task is provided seamlessly and in context, on one screen. Command Centre Premier ensures the security team sees exactly what you need them to see, with the information sized and placed exactly where you want it. Frequently used actions can be carried out quickly and easily while information that isn't relevant can be completely removed from the operator's view. It is no longer possible to accidentally close a window, losing access to vital information, as screen layouts are pre-designed and information presented to operators in an easy to use format.
Gallagher Command Centre v7.00 delivers enhanced and user configurable:

Alarm Management Overview
Command Centre Premier’s Alarm Viewers are custom designed for the target screen resolution, sourcing and presenting all the information an operator needs to manage an alarm in one screen.
- Alarm response panels presented to the operator are pre-configured based on the type of alarm, ensuring the information presented is always relevant and targeted.
- Each of the columns in the alarm list are part of a sortable grid, allowing sites to better manage alarms by sorting the list to group like alarms.
- Command Centre Premier's alarm viewers provide options to filter and segregate alarm lists to provide easier cross-coverage of operator workloads and to ensure important alarms always retain high visibility via pop-to-front alarm viewer configuration.
- Docking and sizing the alarm list allows maximum flexibility and optimal use of screen real estate when using wide screen monitors.
- Command Centre Premier introduces new tools for navigating alarms in the list, simply and effectively while also providing operators with an up to date summary of alarms currently being managed.
Configuring Alarm Response Panels
The alarm information presented to the operator is pre-configured, based on alarm type. You can choose to use default viewers installed with Command Centre Premier or target the information to your site's particular requirements.
- The detailed information an operator needs to diagnose and manage an alarm is presented in the alarm response panel.
- The Alarm response panel is configurable, based on a selection of tiles which can be sized and placed on screen.
- Tiles display contextually appropriate content such a site plans, video, or cardholder details related to the alarm.
- Different tile selections and layout can be created for different alarm types.
- Alarm response panels can be fully integrated with video, both live video and stored footage from time of the alarm.
Filtered Alarm Viewers
Command Centre Premier introduces new capabilities for filtering the alarm list within a viewer. As with all Command Centre functionality, an operator's privileges always apply first in determining the alarms which are visible to an operator or can be managed by them.
- Filter alarm viewer content based on division, escalation status or alarm priority. Assign multiple filtered viewers to operators.
- Supports improved alarm visibility, workload segregation and sharing.
- Segregate critical alarms within pop-to-front viewers, ensuring the most important alarms always command immediate attention.
Door Open Too Long
The security of a site is immediately compromised when an employee either intentionally or accidentally leaves a door open after a valid entry or exit. Door open too long (DOTL) alarms are a common security management issue experienced by many sites. When DOTL alarms occur the security team's desire is often to be able to contact the person who has left the door open and ask them to return to and re-secure the door. V7.00 and Command Centre Premier now makes this possible, with the last person to whom entry was granted now being automatically associated with a DOTL alarm.
- With the system configurability of the information presented to the operator for a given type of alarm, any of the cardholder's details, including for example, the person's image or mobile phone number, can be displayed to the operator, who is then able to make contact with the person to address the situation.
- The cardholder event trail can also assist by informing the operator of any subsequent movements through controlled points which the cardholder makes, allowing the operator to easily track the person's current location.
Configurable Alarm List
Command Centre Premier offers the option to select the columns to be displayed in the alarm list within each Alarm Viewer. As Alarm Viewers can be customized and pre-configured for each role, different operators can now choose different content within the alarm list. Each of the columns in the alarm list are part of a sortable grid, allowing sites to better manage alarms by sorting the list to group like alarms, e.g. all alarms from the same zone or alarms from the same cardholder or the same alarm source. Command Centre Premier allows optional inclusion of any the following columns within the sortable alarm list:
- Alarm Message.
- Alarm Zone.
- Cardholder related to the alarm.
- Division of the item which is the source of the alarm.
- Entry Access Zone related to the alarm.
- Event Group.
- Event Source.
- Event Type.
- Count (the number of occurrences for flooded alarms).
Cardholder Management Overview
Command Centre Premier's Cardholder Management Viewers can be custom designed for the target screen resolution; sourcing and presenting all the information an operator needs to search for, view and update cardholders details, all in one screen.
- Viewers can be tailored for an operator's role, removing any information which is not relevant and making best use of available screen real estate to present and manage a cardholder's details, all from one screen.
- Supporting keyboard-skilled cardholder administrators, all actions can be managed via keyboard alone.
- Command Centre supports searching for cardholders in a way that makes sense to the operator. Searching by name is powerful yet straightforward and intuitive. There is no requirement to know the correct spelling of a name, as any part of the first or last name, entered in either order will find the correct person.
- Search options are flexible, from searches across single or multiple fields initiated automatically as the operator types; to building multi-statement advanced search criteria.
- A person arriving at the cardholder administrator's office with a query, can simply place their card on the Gallagher Mifare USB encoder to execute a search (supports Mifare card technologies only).
- Cardholder viewers introduce the capability to configure the information returned for a cardholder in the search results. This information extends from base details such as name, description, division, or card number, to personal data such as email address or department, through to dynamic information such as the last zone entered at the time of the search and the time of last entry.
- The cardholder's filtered event trail provides a recent history not only of where the cardholder has been but also operator modifications to their details or access. It provides a packaged history suitable for reviewing cardholder behaviour and diagnosing access issues.
Advanced Cardholder Search
Command Centre Premier now offers the option to search for cardholders, view and update their details, all within a single screen tailored for the operator's particular needs. Command Centre Premier allows a site to configure the fields that are used in a search and displayed on screen when matching cardholders are returned.
Command Centre Premier supports searching for cardholders in a way that makes sense to the operator. Searching by name is powerful yet straightforward and intuitive. The operator simply starts to type any part of the first or last name. When the third character is entered matching results are automatically returned from the server and are filtered as the operator continues to type.
Command Centre Premier offers new options for cardholder administrators who need to find a particular group of people either to review or modify their details or alternately to obtain a simple on-screen or emailable report for these people.
An advanced search option allows a site to build flexible statements combining criteria using AND/OR logic to find exactly the required group of people.
Search on any of the following criteria:
- Cardholder's authorisation status (authorised/de-authorised).
- Cardholder's creation date in the system.
- Cardholder's last modification date within the system.
- Cardholder's division.
- When the cardholder last requested access.
- Cardholder's membership to a selected access group.
- Cardholder's card status (pending, active, expired, disabled, or inactive for any reason).
- Cardholder having a card of a selected type.
- Cardholder's status for a selected competency (pending, active, expired, expiry due, disabled).
- Recorded value for a text-based personal data field (is the value or contains the value).
- Recorded date within a personal data field (is, before, after or between specified dates).
- Recorded value or range of values within a numeric personal data field (is, less than, more than, or between specified values).
- Whether the cardholder has a value recorded (or not) for a specified personal data field.
Cardholder Event Trail
When an operator retrieves a cardholder's information, Command Centre Premier offers a new option providing additional information about the person and their recent activity.
The cardholder's filtered event trail provides a recent history not only of where the cardholder has been but also operator modifications to their details or access. It provides a packaged history suitable for reviewing cardholder behaviour and diagnosing access issues.
- The number of prior events or prior timeframe to display (e.g. events for the last 2 4hours) is configurable.
- Event trails are dynamic and update in real time as the cardholder accesses new areas.
- Can also be used for operator audit, displaying a list of recent actions an operator has taken within the system, e.g. processing alarms or assigning access.
Viewer Configuration
Cardholder Viewers can be configured based on the different information needs of dedicated cardholder administrators, security managers or the security team. Views are assigned to the operators who require them based on the division of the viewer and the operator's privileges within that division.
Multiple cardholder viewers can be assigned to a single operator.
- User interface configuration tools provide simple and intuitive methods to design screens adapted for an operator's specific information needs.
- Configure the fields to search for cardholders by and to be displayed in the search results. Configure the order and minimum size of fields displayed in the search results.
- Configure the area of the screen dedicated to the search panel versus the information displayed for the selected cardholder.
- Dock the search panel to the top, bottom, left or right of the screen to make best use of available screen real estate.
- Configure the viewer for the specific screen resolution available to an operator.
- Configure the name of the viewer, as displayed in the viewer toolbar at logon.
- Configure the tiles displayed for the selected cardholder, from the toolbox of options.
- Configure the area of the screen dedicated to the search panel versus the information displayed for the selected cardholder.
- Configure the content of the cardholder details tile.
- Configure the content of the cardholder images tile.
Site Monitoring Overview
Gallagher Command Centre provides the ability to build tailored screen layouts bringing together all the information and control a guard needs in one place.
Monitor Site Viewers are an extremely versatile blank canvas which can be used in a number of ways:
- Monitoring and control screen layouts, in a tabbed format, each targeted for a specific area of the site, whether that's a perimeter fence, a building, a floor, or even a single high security door.
- Screen layouts can integrate perimeter, access and intruder alarm information, via site plans, live camera feeds, status and override tiles, filtered event trails or guard tours. Each of the components can be mixed and matched and the content filtered to provide localised and targeted monitoring and control panels.
- Screen layouts can be designed to provide a graphical overview of the site, featuring a collection of site plans or a collection of live video feeds from selected cameras, tiled on screen.
- User interface design tools allow quick and easy layout of the screen and selection of the content, ensuring operators always have the information they need at their fingertips.
- In-built tools to maximise an area of interest ensure viewers can be information rich and single screen with the ability to quickly see more detail when necessary.
Integrated Live Video
Monitor Site Viewers are extremely flexible and can be used to combine and present information in many different ways, not just based on area or geographic location.
- Sites with integrated video management systems can combine cameras from multiple vendors in a video wall or mix and match live video with other security information such as site plans or event logs.
- Live video from integrated cameras can be placed in thumbnail size on site maps, in the physical location of the camera.
- Video tiles can be maximized with a single click while other cameras remain live in thumbnail size in a filmstrip view on the right hand side of the panel.
Configuring Monitoring and Control Panels
Custom panels can combine access control, intruder and perimeter monitoring with integrated video, all on one screen.
The Monitor Site Viewer provides situational awareness, mixing different sources of information to ensure the operator understands the bigger picture and can take appropriate action.
Command Centre Premier provides the tools to size, place and filter information on the screen so that operators have a focused command and control panel wide enough to present the bigger picture, small enough for an operator to absorb the detail. Each of the tiles can be placed and sized on the screen ensuring they are suitable for the intended content.
Challenge Overview
Command Centre Premier provides the ability to create custom designed panels with targeted and selected cardholder and site information presented for either controlled or view-only monitoring of cardholders as they pass through a secured access point.
Command Centre Premier's Challenge Viewers allow a site more flexibility when verifying a person's identity prior to granting them entry:
- Challenge events from multiple entry points can be combined in one viewer or segregated into separate viewers for flexible workload management.
- Assisting operators who perform background tasks as well as controlled challenge entry Challenge Viewers can automatically pop to front when a new challenge request occurs.
- The queue of waiting requests is always visible to the operator, so that an operator needing more information from a person at one entry point can now choose to switch to an alternate challenge request, processing that event before returning to the original cardholder.
Controlled Challenge
Command Centre offers the ability to present any of the following information to the controlled challenge operator, with support for positioning and sizing of this information on the screen:
- A cardholder image tile.
- Name, division, description and any personal data.
- Current status of cards, competencies or access groups, notifications or relationships.
- Cardholder history.
- Cardholder expiries tile.
- Cardholder notes previously recorded for the person.
- Event trail showing where the person has recently used their card as well as recent operator modifications to the person's information (e.g. changes to the person's details, cards or access).
- Site plan.
- Status tile.
- Live video from any integrated camera, allowing challenge operators remote from the entry point to view and compare on screen cardholder information with the person requesting entry to view and compare on screen, the stored cardholder image against the live image of the person requesting entry.
Managing the Challenge Queue
Command Centre Premier in v7.00 now offers an operator new flexibility in managing simultaneous challenge requests from multiple controlled entry points.
Challenge events from different entry points can be presented to an operator at the same time and within the same viewer.
An operator needing more information from a person at one entry point can now choose to switch to an alternate challenge request, processing that event before returning to the original cardholder.
Pop-to-front Challenge Viewers
Assisting operators who perform background tasks and utilise controlled challenge entry. Viewers can automatically pop to front when a new challenge request occurs.
