A bi-directional ASCII interface support, this allows the Gallagher Controller to send out ASCII text string in response to Gallagher alarms and events – for example, sending out PTZ instructions to a matrix switcher. Alarms can return to normal on receipt of a specific ASCII string, such as logging events received from an intercom system or fire alarm panel.
