The Enterprise Data Import Interface is a tool that allows for the configuration and synchronisation of cardholder data with external enterprise systems and has various features and benefits that deliver further integration of your company’s systems:
• Data maintained in a primary database, such as a HR database, can be mirrored in the Gallagher database on an ongoing basis. This retains data integrity and reflects business-approved changes to cardholder information and access rights
• Existing cardholder details can be migrated from sites within an obsolete security system to the Gallagher system
• Existing employee fields, such as personal details, group memberships and licences, can be mapped to their Gallagher Command Centre equivalent – for example, personal data fields, access groups and competencies. One-to-one or one-to-many relationships can be easily mapped between systems using this intuitive interface
• Abbreviations used in the external system can be translated into more meaningful descriptions on import to the Gallagher system.
• The Enterprise Data Import Interface can be used for manual one-off migrations and/or set to automatically update changes made in a primary employee database in the Gallagher system. It does this by mapping employee data exported to text files from the third-party system.
