Gallagher Controller 6000
The Gallagher Controller 6000 works independently of the Command Centre server.
As well as managing access control and security functions, it can also physically enforce business rules, be aware of its environment, communicate with other systems nearby and make enriched access decisions based on variables from these systems.
There are two options – the Gallagher Controller 6000 and the Gallagher Controller 6000 High Spec (HS). The Reader Module hardware options are the Gallagher 8R Module and the Gallagher 4R Module. The Gallagher 8R has on-board connections for (variations for the Controller 6000 4R are shown in brackets):
• Gallagher readers or Wiegand format readers
• 24 (12) balanced inputs and eight (four) relay outputs
• Two GBUS ports to support:
– GBUS I/O devices (including GBUS universal reader interfaces)
– Gallagher Remote Arming Terminals or Gallagher Trophy FT Keypads
– Gallagher Trophy FT Fence Controllers
The Gallagher Dialler can also be attached to the Gallagher Controller 6000 to enable dial-up capability for the support of remote sites and off-site alarm monitoring.
The Gallagher Controller 6000 supports approximately 80,000 events and 500,000 card records for access control functions.
