Gallagher enjoyed great success at this year’s IFSEC, thanks in part to ASSA ABLOY’s latest innovative locking technology, the award-winning Aperio™.

As well as releasing the new Gallagher access reader range visitors to the Gallagher stand were able to view Aperio™ locking technology, named Integrated Security Product of the Year at this year’s IFSEC Security Industry Awards. The latest innovative locking solution from ASSA ABLOY, Aperio™ enables the wireless integration of mechanical locks into existing access control systems, offering a cost effective and simple security upgrade.

Ideal for Facility or Security Managers experiencing costly and time-consuming key control problems, Aperio™ has been designed to upgrade mechanically locked doors and wirelessly connect them to existing online access control systems, with minimal modification to doors and premises. This provides end-users in a variety of markets with a simple and intelligent way of upgrading the controllability and security level of their premises. Plus, Wiegand and iClass connectivity has recently been added to the Aperio™ offering, allowing Aperio™ to connect with almost all access control systems in the marketplace.
