Newest Business Development Manager Jacky Chow sees huge opportunities for Gallagher in Asia, especially in China and India.
“They are developing countries which will have a lot of buildings, factories, infrastructure and utilities built following the economic growth,” says Jacky.
His attraction to pursuing a career at Gallagher came from his belief in its products, as well as Gallagher’s focus on the Asian market. His last role was at Schneider Electric (Hong Kong) as a sales manager, responsible for selling and providing technical support for the security products and BMS partner business in Hong Kong and Macau.
For Gallagher he will be covering Hong Kong, Macau and China; developing business contacts and supporting the channel partners for the region.
Through his new role at Gallagher, Jacky hopes to further his career in the security industry by being recognised as an expert in the market. “I want everyone who needs a security system to think of me and Gallagher products first. Moreover, I hope to have my partners and clients recognise me as a security system professional who can provide a solution they need”.
Jacky has spent a full week at the Hamilton Gallagher Head Office, learning all the ins and outs of different departments and the structure of the organisation. “I am very happy to be a member at Gallagher. My first impression of the organisational architecture is that it is simple and direct. All colleagues are nice and helpful.”
